Carlos Sanchez and Steve O'Hara have been scoring cross country meets, mainly for Round Rock High School and Coach Jackson. Here are most of the official results as well as the spreadsheets we used for scoring. Please, only Excel experts should look at the spreadsheets!
Since Coach Jackson retired from RRHS, we have also retired from the scoring and timing business. We did it for ten years, because we love the sport and we love the influence Coach Jackson had on our children.
Here are some great Newletters from 1999 to 2001.
Cross Country Scoring. Teams must have at least five runners to get a team score. Only the first seven runners on a team count towards the score. If there is a tie, the sixth runner is the tie breaker. Some JV races allow 12th graders to count, some do not.

Feel adventuresome? Want to try scoring a meet yourself? You're welcome to use the latest version of the spreadsheet. Carlos Sanchez and I have scored dozens of meets using versions of these spreadsheets.

If you live near Round Rock, it is possible for us to actually score a meet
for you. We normally charge a modest fee to cover our expenses.
